They arrived at their destination, the man stopping near a dense grove of trees. “We’re here,” he said, his voice tight with anticipation. He pulled out a small device and pressed a few buttons. A screen flickered to life, revealing a hidden camera feed. Robert’s breath caught as he took in the images.
“This is it,” the man muttered. The footage displayed a stretch of polluted water, dark and murky. “What is this place?” Robert asked, barely able to speak. The sight before him was a chilling contrast to the pristine beach he’d once known. The water looked lifeless, poisoned, a haunting reminder of the danger lurking beneath.
