When Robert arrived at the beach, he was met with new “restricted area” signs plastered everywhere. “What now?” he muttered, parking the car. The signs were impossible to miss, warning everyone to stay away. “These weren’t here yesterday,” he thought, scanning the area for any sign of what had changed.
Despite the glaring warnings, his need for answers overpowered his caution. “I have to know what’s going on,” he decided, his steps firm as he headed toward the beach. Ignoring the barriers, Robert pressed on. A strange, eerie silence had replaced the usual sounds of laughter and waves. His heart raced as he neared the water.
