The Beach Held a Lie
Robert stood on the beach, stunned. The scene before him wiped away all traces of the chaos from the day before. The strange objects were gone, and the shore looked as if nothing had happened at all. “How is this possible?” he wondered, walking along the edge of the water.
The waves lapped at his feet, offering no hint of the disturbance that had shaken the area. “Did I imagine it?” he asked himself, glancing around in disbelief. The beach was silent, devoid of people or any remnants of the mysterious shapes. A chill ran down his spine as he realized something wasn’t right.
