When the Gottschalks’ Malibu villa burned down in 2018, the “Wetten, dass…” host simply bought his ex-wife Thea a new villa nearby for €7.2 million. He sold the destroyed property to a dentist for €6.5 million. And since the lively 72-year-old has found new love with TV producer Karina Mroß, he has also acquired a stylish new estate at Lake Malibu. Additionally, he is said to have invested in another property in San Diego—perhaps a gift for his youngest son Tristan, who got engaged in November 2021?
