She tries to lead an unglamorous life, as she says, to protect her children from her fame. The 55-year-old enjoys taking the train alone from her condominium in a multi-family house in Sürth, observing people whom she later portrays in her films and comedy sketches. “Cologne is such an unpretentious city,” claims the actress, who recently declared her love for her hometown with the ZDF film “Südstadt.”
