You could quickly tell that Nancy Sinatra comes from a famous family because of her last name. Her dad was the late Frank Sinatra, and it looks like she wanted to follow in his footsteps. She ultimately broke away from her famous father’s shadow when she released her song, “These Boots Are Made for Walkin’.”
Her other memorable hits were “Somethin’ Stupid” and “Sugar Town.” Sinatra also pursued acting, appearing in “Speedway” and “The Wild Angels. Her last studio album was 2013’s “Shifting Gears,” but she released a new compilation album in 2021 titled “Start Walkin’ 1965–1976.”
