Kim Novak (Born In 1933) – Illinois
Kim Novak launched a professional movie career in 1954 when she signed a contract with Columbia Picture. Her breakthrough performances were in films like “The Man with the Golden Arm” and “Picnic.” The most notable role in her career was in 1958’s “Vertigo.”
Novak decided to slow down with all the acting work when she reached her mid-30s, but she still accepted new gigs sporadically. She ultimately entered retirement for good after appearing in “Lievestraum” in 1991. In 2020, she got featured on several episodes of “CBS News Sunday Morning.”
