Michael McKean started pursuing acting roles while still a student at Carnegie Mellon University. He first caught people’s attention when he starred in “Laverne & Shirley.” On top of his acting work, he also spent a brief period playing in a band called The Left Banke.
McKean showcased his musical talent in “This Is Spinal Tap.” He wrote a song called “A Might Wind” for the film of the same name, and it won him a Grammy Award. He’s still busy at work as of 2021, for he did voice work for “Rugrats.”
