Richard Dean Anderson first gained fame when he appeared in the TV series “General Hospital.” It was a great stepping stone in his acting career, and he ultimately had his breakthrough when he got cast as the star of “MacGyver” in the mid-’80s.
His career continued to flourish in 1997 when he started starring in the show called “Stargate SG-1.” Anderson hasn’t done any acting work since his guest appearance in “Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23” in 2013.
